Lake Hopatcong Fishing in NJ

Youth Summer Fishing Camps

Registration Inquiries and Questions, email LHGScamps@gmail.com - please include your phone number.

In collaboration with the Roxbury Twp Recreation Department.

Lake Hopatcong Guide Service is proud and excited to share our love of fishing and wealth of knowledge with the next generation of anglers! In partnership with Roxbury Twp Recreation Dept, will be hosting six (6) one-week-long summer camps at the Horseshoe Lake Recreation Complex with the focus on educating, instructing, and having fun with your young anglers! Your child will receive guidance each day from different members of our Lake Hopatcong team, as well as our Fly Fishing team. This gives them exposure to both conventional and fly fishing techniques. Our professional guide staff will share different presentations, lures/flies, and tips/instructions to help make each camp goer a better and more versatile angler. All fishing will take place from shore at Horseshoe Lake and each group will be led by a LHGS team member. Maximum of 16 children per camp. Minimum of 2 LHGS team members in attendance each day.

Registration is open to all young anglers heading into 2nd – 8th grades for the ’23-’24 school year. Campers do not have to be Roxbury residents; our camps are open to all.
