GUIDED FISHING TRIP (UP TO 3 GUESTS)

This is the trip that our business was built on - the ultimate experience for a guided multi-species fishing trip in New Jersey. You will enjoy a day of fishing on New Jersey’s largest lake with the guys that know it best. Our large 18.5' and 17.75' Lund Deep-V fishing boats ensure a stable and comfortable day on the water. Both are equipped with top of the line electronics and all high-end fishing rods/tackle are included. Just show up and fish! We truly target the best bites available on the lake throughout the year with a focus on Walleye, Hybrid Stripers, and Panfish.

LARGE GROUP CHARTER (UP TO 8 GUESTS)

This is an awesome way for larger groups to enjoy a privately guided fishing trip on Lake Hopatcong! You will fish with a member of our guide-staff aboard our 24' customized fishing pontoon boat. Rods and livebait tackle are included (bait is extra). This trip option came from our desire to encourage our guests to bring their entire family along, invite a second family, bring together large groups of friends, accommodate anglers that are limited physically, host fishing birthday parties, bachelor parties, corporate events, and a variety of other occasions. These trips are centered around live bait, lots of action, and simple vertical presentations. Great for anglers of all ages and skill levels! 

TROPHY MUSKY TRIP (UP TO 2 GUESTS)

The apex freshwater predator in the Northeast is the fabled Muskellunge. Part of the mystique surrounding Muskies is how hard they are to understand, pattern, and catch. However, our highly credentialed team of Musky guides and their obsession with these freshwater giants makes landing "The Fish of 10,000 Casts" a legitimate possibility whenever you fish with us. This trip is capped at two anglers and we recommend higher-level anglers who are competent with baitcasting equipment.   

GUIDED FLY FISHING TRIP (2 GUESTS MAX)

When you step into one of New Jersey's top trout streams with LHGS fly guides Justin Linteris and/or Matt Califano, you are in for an awesome experience! Whether you are just starting out or have been fly fishing for years, their knowledge, knack for teaching, and ability to put anglers on fish is uncanny. In addition, their fun-loving and enthusiastic personalities are infectious and always make your day on the water a great time. They will lead your fly fishin adventure through the pristine waters of northern NJ using hand tied flies in pursuit of Rainbow, Wild Browns, and Native Brook Trout. 

PROFESSIONAL BASS EXPERIENCE (UP TO 2 GUESTS)

Want to experience a day of professional-level bass fishing? Look no further! You will fish with MLF (Major League Fishing) Toyota Series Pro, Dan Goykhman. His professionally outfitted Skeeter ZXR21 is fully outfitted with Forward Facing Sonar, 360 Imaging, and the top electronics setup on the market. Whether you want to learn more about Forward Facing Sonar, receive tutelage on high-level bass techniques, or just want to experience a great day of bass fishing... this is the trip for bass enthusiasts!

YOUTH FISHING PROGRAMS

Kids Summer Camps are a blast! We are passionate about spreading our knowledge and love of fishing to the next generation of anglers and this is how we do it. We offer multiple week-long (Mon-Fri) summer camps in partnership with Roxbury Twp Recreation Dept and Ramsey Outdoor Stores. All fishing is done from the bank at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna, NJ. Open to all anglers age 7 to 14 years of age. We group the kids based on skill level and age, so whether your young angler has never fished or is a fishing fanatic, we've got them covered. We have varying curriculum/goals to accommodate all skill levels and ensure a fun, educational week for everyone. 

Our Advanced Youth Fishing Club has turned into such a rewarding program for all involved and our group has become almost like family. Our classroom sessions are hosted by Ramsey Outdoor Store. We meet for multiple on-the-water trips. And each concludes with a tour of the Hackettstown Fish Hatchery. The Club is designed for higher-level, passionate young anglers from age 11 - 17.  In addition to high-level tutelage, we harp on the importance of good fishing buddies, teamwork, and treating each other well. This messaging is important and has led to so many of our club kids becoming good friends and fishing buddies outside of the club - something that we love to see!

Interested in using the baits that we do? Now you can! We have partnered with NJ-based, Battle Creek Bait Co., to create our own line of soft-plastic baits. We rely on catching fish to make a living, so our field testing was extensive down to the last detail. These baits are Battle Tested and Guide Approved! You can find them on the shelves and online at Ramsey Outdoor Store.
