We are thrilled to keep our Youth Fishing Club rolling into 2026! For 5 consecutive years we have hosted Summer Fishing Camps and multiple other youth fishing programs. These initiatives have brought together hundreds of like-minded local youth anglers interested in furthering their fishing knowledge and experiences. We have caught a ton of fish and created so many great stories and memories. The countless friendships/fishing buddies that have formed has been truly special to witness. This Youth Fishing Club is our way of keeping this network of kids connected and fishing together outside of just the summer.
ABOUT: Whether your child is a regular who has fished with us before or they are coming out for the first time, our goal is always to provide a safe, fun, and educational fishing experience. Members of our Professional Guide staff are there every step of the way to improve their angling skills and assist with/teach all fishing related tasks until they are fully independent. Every outing we promote the importance of being good fishing buddies, on-the-water etiquette, catch and release angling, and positive comradery among everyone onboard. In a nutshell, we want them to learn and become better anglers, have fun/grow their love for the sport, and form meaningful friendships with others who they will call their "Fishing Buddies" long into the future. Details are below:
WHO: Anglers ages 9 - 17 with some fishing experience.

WHERE: Lake Hopatcong (Lakeview Marina and/or Prospect Point Boat Yard) and Greenwood Lake (Greenwood Lake Marina).
PRICE: Cost is $150 per child, per outing. Special events outside of these may vary in price.
THE BOATS:
Lake Hopatcong: Outings with 8 or less anglers will fish from our 24' fishing pontoon (Prospect Point Boat Yard). 9 - 16 attendees and we will fish from our massive 32' x 12' “Fish-N-Tiki” pictured above (Lakeview Marina)! So spread the word and bring your friends for an incredibly unique and cool fishing experience!
Greenwood Lake: All fishing will take place from our giant 34' double-decker fishing pontoon (pictured below). Maximum of 14 anglers.
THE GUIDES: LHGS Founder, Aaron Graybill, will be the lead guide/captain on most trips. Smaller groups will have 1 or 2 members of our professional guide-staff onboard. All trips over 8 anglers are captained by 2 or 3 members of our team. All are seasoned veterans of our guide staff. Our staff is there to teach, guide, and provide a fun and safe fishing environment.
WHAT'S INCLUDED: All rods/reels, bait, tackle, and life jackets are provided. We recommend using our gear and leaving your child's rods/boxes behind. We use different rods, reels, and lures every week based on what our target species and fishing technique is. We will always have proper rod/reel setups rigged and ready to go for all onboard. Too many rods can clutter the boat and large tackle boxes packed with lures typically end up being a distraction. THAT BEING SAID... We are all fishermen and if there is one rod/reel and one box that your child can't fish without, they are allowed to do so.
WHAT TO BRING: Eye protection - sunglasses and hat are highly recommended for safety reasons. Water/snacks. While not necessary, we do allow each angler to bring one rod and one smaller tackle box if they have solid gear and baits that make sense to use. Dress appropriately and in layers early and late in the year. Warm footwear is super important on any chilly morning.
REGISTRATION: Spots are limited. Payment is due at the time of registration. You must reserve your spot in advance - first come, first serve. Questions or registration inquiries, please email "LHGScamps@gmail.com"
